Servings: If I'm really hungry, I will turn this recipe into 1 serving. It makes 1 very large serving or 2 medium servings.Storing and meal prepping smoothiesStoring smoothies can be a bit tricky. Here’s how to do it.
Pour any leftover smoothie into an ice cube tray or silicon muffin tin molds placed on a baking tray.
Flash freeze them until just frozen, then transfer to a freezer safe Ziplock bag and store for up to 3 months.
When you want it again, add the frozen cubes to a blender with more milk and blend. It can also be helpful to leave them on the counter for 15 minutes or so to soften. Then you can usually reblend it without hardly any liquid.
This method is also great for meal-prepping smoothies! Some folks prep smoothies by putting all the ingredients in individual bags. But I find that to be tedious and it’s hard to get everything out of the bags.*Nutrition calculations are using a Fairlife vanilla protein shake.*
