Notes

For more protein, you can add 1 tablespoon of hemp seeds or a scoop of vanilla protein powder. If you use vanilla protein powder, leave out the maple syrup.
Expert Tips
Use frozen berries: Make sure to use frozen berries to achieve the thick, creamy consistency we want with this shake. Or, add ice cubes if fresh berries are all you have.
Blend well: Don't rush the blending process, or your shake will be lumpy! It can take a few minutes to fully blend the cottage cheese.
Use a ripe banana: The darker your banana, the sweeter it'll taste.
Adjust the ingredients: This recipe is super customizable. So, feel free to mix and match different ingredients to suit your preferences.
Storage & meal prep tips
Fridge
Blend the smoothie, and store it in an airtight cup for up to 2 days.
Meal Prep
If you want to meal prep this, pour the blended smoothie into an ice cube tray or freezer-safe mold. Reblend in the morning with a splash of milk.
