Ingredients

- French bread - Breakfast sausage - Apples - Onion - Cranberries - Egg - Chicken broth - Butter, spices

Sauté the butter, spices, and onions in a large skillet over medium heat. Stir together to coat the onions in the spices.

Step 1

Add the sausage to the pan with the onions. Brown the sausage and break it up as it cooks. Cook 5 minuets and then set aside.

Step 2

Melt remaining butter in the microwave. Then, add to a bowl with the broth and egg. Whisk until liquid is thoroughly mixed.

Step 3

Add the stale bread, cranberries, apples, parsley, onion, and sausage to a large bowl and mix until well combined.

Step 4

Add everything to an 8x11 greased dish. Pour broth mixture on top. Bake at 400 degrees for 50 minutes until the top is golden.

Step 5

Serve hot if possible! If bringing this to a gathering keep it in the fridge and then reheat it in the oven for 15 minutes to serve.
