- Ground beef (or bison) - Beans - Sweet corn - Butternut Squash - Onion - Garlic - Seasoning -Enchilada sauce - Tomato paste

Brown the beef in a large pot or Dutch oven. Cook on medium heat until the meat is partially browned, then add the onions, garlic, and tomato paste.

Step 1

Cook and stir until the onions are translucent and fragrant, about 5 minutes. Also, break the meat up into bite-sized pieces.

Step 2

Add the remaining ingredients into the pot and mix to combine. Note: don't drain the canned beans before adding, as they provided needed liquid.

Step 3

Simmer the chili on the stove on low heat for 15 minutes to let the flavors develop. It'll start to smell delicious!

Step 4

Once it's done simmering dish it up and serve it hot. We like to eat our chili with cheese and spicy peppers on top. Serve with whatever toppings you like!
