Ingredients

- White fish (we use walleye) - Honey mustard - Panko bread crumbs - Flour - Vegetable oil - Salt and black pepper

Heat a large pan with enough vegetable oil to cover 1/3 of the fillets (about 1 cup). Then, cut skin off fillets and pat dry.

Step 1

Pour honey mustard into a shallow bowl. Dip one fish fillet into the mustard and flip it over so it's fully coated on both sides.

Step 2

Pour dry ingredients into a separate shallow bowl and mix. Then, take mustard coated fillet and coat with the flour mixture.

Step 3

Place fish in hot oil. The oil should be 350 degrees F for best results. Cook on one side for 2-3 minutes.

Step 4

Flip the pieces of fish over and cook on the other side for another 2-3 minutes. Then, remove and place on a plate with paper towels.

Step 5

The fish should be flakey when done. Let the paper towels soak up the excess oil and enjoy with lemon or more honey mustard!
