This easy coffee birthday cake combines hazelnut, chocolate, and coffee to create the perfect cake for any coffee lover!

- Box cake mix and specified ingredients - Instant coffee - Chocolate Frosting - Hazelnut chocolate bar - Heavy whipping cream

Make the cake as directed by the box but also add in 2 tablespoons of instant coffee. Split the batter between the two pans.

Step 1

Bake cakes per the packaging directions. While the cakes bake, chop the chocolate bars and set aside.

Step 2

Prep the frosting by whipping the cream until stiff peaks form. Then, fold in one can of frosting gently.

Step 3

Once the cakes are done, let them cool for 15 minutes and then flip them out onto a cooling rack to finish cooling.

Step 4

Once cake has cooled, spread fudgy chocolate frosting on one cake. Top with the crushed up hazelnut chocolate bar.

Step 5

Place your second cake on top. Then, spread whipped cream frosting on top.  Add sprinkles as desired and then enjoy!
