Biscoff French Toast

This perfect Biscoff French Toast Recipe is an easy recipe that is the perfect holiday treat! It’s dipped in a creamy protein packed batter, topped with crunchy Biscoff cookies, and is  perfect for Christmas morning.

First, gather ingredients: – 1 Cup macadamia milk – 1 Scoop vanilla protein powder plant based – 1 Pack biscoff cookies – 1 Tsp vanilla – 4 Tbsp vegan Butter for frying – 10 Slices bread brioche (approximately 1 loaf)

Step 1: Slice bread into ½ inch slices and set out to dry.  Preferably the day before, but if not, pop bread slices into the oven on a sheet tray, laid flat, and bake for 5 minutes at 350 degrees to dry out.

Step 2: Add half of the Biscoff cookies to a food processor

Step 3: Blend Biscoff cookies until crumbled

Step 4: Remove these cookies from the blender and set aside.

Step 5: Add eggs, macadamia milk, protein powder, remaining cookies, and vanilla to the blender and blend until smooth

Step 6: Pour this egg mixture into a shallow, wide dish. We prefer to use a rectangular Tupperware.

Step 7: Heat a frying pan with butter over medium heat

Step 8: Using a fork, set a slice of bread into the batter, let sit for 30 seconds. Flip the bread to the other side and let sit for another 30 seconds.

Step 9: Transfer the slice to the frying pan and fry for 2-3 minutes per side until the batter is set and is golden brown. Flip and repeat

Step 10: Remove from pan and set aside. Repeat this process with all the slices of bread.

Step 11: Top with syrup and crushed Biscoff cookies (from step 2) and whatever else your heart desires!
